As a young child I was playing out with a friend when we we forced to take shelter under an area of bushes we had been playing in. Just in that moment my friend's father arrived and told us to stand under a large tree. The rain was pouring and a cool breeze was blowing, while we watched the rain come down. Once it had stopped the man remarked in a grateful way about the tree that 'she offered some protection'. It seemed to mean more than just protection from the rain. The physical version was painted on Cotton Canvas with Acrylic using Knife and Brush. It is 59cm x 84cm (A1) and was sold for £630.
