In central Manchester two paving stones had been stolen, being so used to the stone and concrete of the made environment the soil underneath enraptured me. Taken aback that the common city element of the pavement flagstones would be an item of value. My thumbprint replaced a vandal's tag that I wondered if had been placed by the urban thief. The physical version was painted on Cotton Canvas with Acrylic using Knife, Brush and Gestural Marks. The physical version was 42cm x 29cm (A3) and was sold for £540.
