At a family home on the 14th floor of a high rise apartment I looked out across the city and was taken with the view of other high rise buildings and lower apartment blocks, down to the flat streets below. It seemed as if I was in the midst of towering columns in a karst landscape. the rain having washed away the weaker stone until only the strong concrete tors remained.
The physical work was created on Heavy Mixed Media paper and Acrylic paint, applied with Knife and Brush. Overall it is 29cm x 21cm (A4) and was sold to a private collector for £180. This is part of the Reflections collection, see the full set at http://www.markjdiez.com/mixed-media-art/reflections/
